This travel course immerses students in the lands of the Bible and introduces them to the modern situation in Israel and Palestine.
We will tour the sites of events recounted in the Bible, such as the archaeological remains of the Davidic kingdom, the Temple Mount, and the places of Jesus’s ministry in Galilee. Students will also be oriented to present-day political issues of Israeli politics and the status and experience of Palestinians.
Students completing this course will gain knowledge and appreciation of biblical history, geography, and archaeology for understanding the Bible, and find themselves and their ministries transformed by the experience.
