This is truly the time for coordinated international resistance, which requires deepening the connections between those fighting for justice, equality and democracy everywhere. In line with that way of thinking we are inviting loyal friends and generous supporters of +972 Magazine, to an exclusive, unique and first of its kind on-the-ground one week long tour of Israel-Palestine between 19-25 October 2025.

About Your Group Leaders​​

Haggai Matar

Executive Director

HAGGAI MATAR the executive director of +972 Magazine and the co-director of Local Call. He is an awards-winning Israeli journalist, who has also written for outlets such as The Guardian, the Nation, Ha’aretz and Ma’ariv. Matar, who lives in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, is also a long time political activist, and in 2002 he was imprisoned for two years for refusing Israeli military conscription.

Ghousoon Bisharat

Editor in Chief

Ghousoon Bisharat is the Editor-in-Chief of +972 Magazine. With over 25 years of experience in journalism, communications, and international cooperation, she has worked with the European Union and leading international news outlets. Ghousoon is a Palestinian citizen of Israel and resides in Haifa.

Dana Mills

Resource Development Manager

Dana Mills has been working in Israeli- Palestinian civil society for the past five years, after clocking 15 years as an academic. She received her Dphil from Oxford in 2014 and is the author of five books. 

Aya Shoshan

Deputy Executive Director

Aya Shoshan is the Deputy Executive Director of +972 Magazine and Deputy Executive Co-Director of Local Call. She has been involved in human rights and social justice initiatives for two decades. Before joining +972, she researched social movements in Israel-Palestine and elsewhere for over ten years, publishing news reports, op-eds, and academic articles. She holds a BA from Yale University and a PhD from Ben Gurion University.
