“MEJDI Exclusive” Socially Conscious Experiences:
Our socially conscious tours focus on the people and stories that define each destination, creating meaningful connections that benefit local communities. With immersive itineraries, you don’t just visit new places—you become part of them. This human-centered approach is what sets MEJDI apart.
Hear directly from leading Haaretz journalists, grassroots activists, survivors, artists, and thought leaders—including members of Standing Together, Rabbis for Human Rights, a former Gaza resident, and a hostage family members —each sharing their story of struggle, resilience, or hope.
Walk through Tel Aviv, Jaffa, Nazareth, Jerusalem, Ramallah, Bethlehem, and communities near Gaza with local experts who bring history and current realities into sharp focus.
Travel to the Israeli communities most affected by the October 7 attacks and ongoing conflict—such as Sderot and the Nova Festival site—alongside Bedouin villages and displaced families whose voices are rarely heard.
Spend a day in Ramallah exploring institutions and media under occupation, and a day in Bethlehem with residents navigating barriers and movement restrictions. Engage in structured workshops that foster deep listening and thoughtful dialogue.

Israel/Palestine is complicated, especially now. But Mejdi is committed to diving in to the complexity, swimming around in it, teaching us all a few new strokes, and then handing us warm fluffy towels to dry off when we climb out. Hope isn’t something you “find”, it’s something you Make, by working and learning with people like the Mejdi folks. If you want to learn from people whose feet are on the ground, whose minds are sharp and critical, and whose hearts are in the right place, sign up now.

MEJDI was one of the first global tour companies to earn B Corp Certification back in 2014, long before B Corp became widely recognized beyond sustainability circles. For us, this certification is a transparent way to demonstrate that we stand by our values: we ensure local vendors are paid fair wages, prioritize small, locally-owned businesses, and treat our partners and staff with dignity and respect. This deep commitment to social change drives MEJDI’s mission: “We exist to create a more peaceful and interconnected world through travel.”
