Protect The Harvest

Global Leader in Socially Conscious Travel.

The Protect the Harvest Campaign offers a unique opportunity to stand alongside Palestinian farming communities during the annual olive harvest. Based in villages either near Bethlehem or Jerusalem, participants spend a week working in the olive groves, sharing meals with local families, and supporting farmers during one of the most culturally and economically significant seasons of the year.

Through hands-on participation, cultural exchange, and meaningful relationships with local communities, participants gain a deeper understanding of life in the West Bank and the challenges facing agricultural communities. The experience is complemented by educational workshops, discussions, and community-led activities that explore themes of resilience, nonviolent advocacy, and everyday life in the region, creating a powerful and immersive learning experience.

MEJDI Tours is one of several partner organizations supporting the Protect the Harvest experience and serves as the local logistics coordinator.

MEJDI was one of the first global tour companies to earn B Corp Certification back in 2014, long before B Corp became widely recognized beyond sustainability circles. For us, this certification is a transparent way to demonstrate that we stand by our values: we ensure local vendors are paid fair wages, prioritize small, locally-owned businesses, and treat our partners and staff with dignity and respect. This deep commitment to social change drives MEJDI’s mission: “We exist to create a more peaceful and interconnected world through travel.”
