Open to Men and Women.  Combined activities for Men and Women on the first day, separate activities for men on the following days.

Women’s Conference information is available at  Option Information.  While there is an option to register for the women’s conference extension at the conference information site, please do not register there.   Instead, wait until the conference registration cost is established.  The option to add the conference registration and medical insurance covering the conference to the study tour cost will then be provided here so that you can pay one total that includes both the women’s conference and the study tour.

Pricing Information:

Projected cost for the tour will be between $2800 and $3100 per person depending on the number of people participating. There is room for up to 40 people and the minimum number needed to run the tour is 20 people.

*Prices are per person and based on double occupancy. Single room supplements are available.

**Price includes emergency medical service advice and medically required emergency transportation by International SOS as part of the Community of Christ coverage for all who travel internationally on behalf of the church as well security advice and best options and available assistance for extraction from emergent threats if they arise.  THIS OVERRIDES THE NO HEALTH INSURANCE INCLUDED STATEMENT IN THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.  Participants may purchase additional health coverage at their own expense but this will not remove the International SOS coverage.

Emergency contact information for SOS services will be provided to participants and tour leaders.  To be reimbursable medical and other expenses must first be directed by contacting an SOS emergency assistance center which will provide a certification to present to the medical provider.  Medical services may need to be paid by participants at the time of service.  Claims for out of pocket expenses may be submitted to Community of Christ risk management and will require documentation for all expenses.

NOTE:  The International SOS insurance does not include trip cancellation/interruption benefits. Persons desiring that coverage need to purchase it on their own. Insurance recommendations for those in the US can be found on our Travel Insurance page. Those outside the US can complete the following form with Yonder Travel to receive information on available insurance plans.

All the trips we take are educational and geared towards cultural immersion, and that’s true of MEJDI. But none are so first hand and intentionally personal as the MEJDI tour guides are.

You come away hopeful because the tour guides can have such different backgrounds and experiences and opinions and still respect each other, And, they introduce you to groups that are working to spread that throughout the world.
