The Islamic Society of North America and the National Council of Synagogues, in collaboration with MEJDI tours, have organized a trip for American Muslim and Jewish leaders to foster interfaith harmony. The specific goal of our trip is to reflect together on the 700 years during which Muslims, Jews and Christians lived and learned side by side in Al Andalus (Spain Only, 711-1492). Our trip will visit cities in Spain exploring the architecture, art, philosophy, poetry and religious life of the three cultures with an emphasis on Islam and Judaism. Pre-trip webinars and post-trip conversations are part of the experience.
