Gayle has worked in crisis situations and high conflict areas all over the world. A first generation American, she explores cultures, people, and compassionate listening as a means of learning and healing.

She has authored 2 books: Our Blessings from China (2010) and The Wounded Healer (2018).

Her favorite saying is from a Robert Frost poem: “Two roads diverged in a wood, and I – I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.“
