Join Reb Irwin Keller, along with members and friends of Congregation Ner Shalom in Israel. The tour will have a strong emphasis on historical and holy site-seeing, spiritual experiences, art, music, food and FUN. We will also do some serious learning about the full social, religious and political spectrum that makes Israel the fascinating and complex place that it is. You will have the opportunity to make authentic connections with the diverse peoples that call Israel and Palestine home. Even if you have been to Israel before, it is a different and wonderful experience to travel with fellow congregants where you can create bonds that last a lifetime.

Included in the experience are several pre-trip learning sessions to acquaint us in advance with the land and the history of Israel…and also give you a chance to connect with your fellow travelers before the tour.

All the trips we take are educational and geared towards cultural immersion, and that’s true of MEJDI. But none are so first hand and intentionally personal as the MEJDI tour guides are.

You come away hopeful because the tour guides can have such different backgrounds and experiences and opinions and still respect each other, And, they introduce you to groups that are working to spread that throughout the world.
