On this unique people-to-people journey, travelers will experience the Holy Land of Israel and Palestine through multiple perspectives with the help of two local tour guides: one Israeli and one Palestinian.

Guiding in tandem, they will discuss and highlight different political and historical opinions at each site, in an immersive travel experience that takes you behind the doors of mosques, synagogues, and churches, through active archeological dig sites, and into the homes of Jewish, Arab, Christian, and Druze families.

Local Princeton alumni will join the group along the way, sharing their own Princeton to the Holy Land stories.

About Your Tour Guides
Shai Goren

Shai Goren

Growing up in Jerusalem, it was always obvious for Shai that the beauty of this place was in it’s diversity. In the last few years he’s been trying to share this beauty with his travelers. He’s been a tour guide for over ten years and has worked with many groups from the US including Israel Track, Taglit, and Jewish federations.

Shai is a big fan of the unique culture that is developing in Israel & Palestine – especially music and LGBTQ life.

He’s lived in the most northern village in the country – on the border with Lebanon, to earn a B.A in Middle Eastern history and nowadays lives in Tel Aviv. Shai is a social and political activist volunteering and guiding at Ir Amim.
