How have the events of October 7th impacted Israel?

What are Israelis and Palestinians thinking about their future?

What are the hopes for a peaceful society of Jews, Muslims, Christians, Druze and others sharing the land?

What do Israelis think about the possibilities of a two state solution?

What has become of the protest movement that dominated Israel from January 2023 until October 7?

This trip will explore these questions and many more. We will also celebrate Shabbat with our friends at Kehillat Birkat Shalom on Kibbutz Gezer and tour the newly opened Israel National Library. Finally, we will simply walk the streets of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, visiting both Arab and Israeli neighborhoods.  That is always an adventure.

This is not a “first timers” trip but certainly all are welcome.

Before you Register

Read through the Terms and Conditions for MEJDI’s Peace of Mind Cancellation Policy.

Do not book your flight until you receive the tour confirmation email from us. This tour requires a minimum number of travelers to run and we will send out the tour confirmation (and update this note on the webpage) as soon as we have met that number.

Once the tour is confirmed, you can either wait for Rabbi Zemel to notify the group of the flight he will be taking OR you can choose your own flight that arrives by 4pm on December 8th.

Check out travel insurance options.

Please note travel insurance options for trips to Israel/Palestine may be limited at the moment. One of our partners, IMG Travel, has added Israel back as a covered destination – with limitations. They are not offering a Cancel For Any Reason policy, nor will they cover losses due to, arising, or resulting from the conflict in Israel. It does cover the standard cancellation reasons (illness, death in the family, etc).

Additionally, you may check the search site Yonder Travel to see if they have added any additional travel insurance providers that have reinstated Israel as a covered location.
