IMG_5177The first photo that overlooks much of Jerusalem is a panorama taken atop of Mount of Olives where we were informed that many of Israel’s rich, powerful and influential people have been laid to rest. We were also informed that there is little to no space remaining for anyone to be buried because of the holiness of the sight, which lead to a high demand and increased cost to be buried in that location.

The second photo was taken at the West Wall, which has been historically used for many reasons. Among the many uses of the West Wall, it is largely used as a connection for prayer in the Jewish community. Many of the students made use of the wall and were given a yamaka upon entering the designated area before writing down a small prayer to be placed into one of the crevices of the wall, itself.
